The concept behind our driving school was developed from getting enquiries from people who had either done many lessons and felt they were not progressing or people who had been let down by being provided with trainee driving instructors from large national companies. How do you know the difference? Well its simple a trainee instructor has a pink badge in their window and a fully qualified instructor has a green badge.

The other area we developed is to provide a complete package for the learner driver.  When you have passed your driving test you need the confidence in that first few months to go it alone. With us we start as we mean to go on. Not only will you be able to drive a car you will understand the many concepts behind what you are doing. A good example is Checking your mirrors. Many new drivers know you have to check them but the question is why do we check them? Well if you don’t know whats behind you or to the right or left of you how can you react to what happens  in front of you? How can you adjust your driving technique to deal with the driver who drives too close to you?

Many people having passed their theory test throw the highway code away, we don’t its an integral part of your driving tuition that’s why our revision folder includeds aspects of the highway code and we continually check your knowledge and understanding of road signs and road layout.

Once you have passed your driving test then you have the option of doing the Pass plus course. Some people benefit from the Pass Plus course  by getting cheaper car insurance, others do the course as it includeds elements of advanced driving techniques making you a safer driver. Motorway lessons will soon be incorporated into normal driving lessons.You will be taught all aspects of motorway driving  once again making you a safer more confident driver.

The element of our driving school that surprises most people is that when it snows normally driving lessons stop……………not with us. If we can get our cars on the road we take you driving. We have many calls from people who have passed their driving test in the summer but want to practice in the snow. We show you have to drive under adverse conditions, skid training and use of gears rather than brakes.
